When people think about coaching, it is usually associated with sports. A sports coach assist athletes in developing their skills to their full potential. The coach is responsible for training athletes and encouraging them as they perform.
A Life Coach uses active listening skills, asks powerful questions, expands the thought process enabling the athlete to move forward in their life with greater clarity, focus, momentum and success by finding and creating their own answers.
A Life Coach empowers the athlete to discover the right answer, which is already inside of them. Only an athlete truly knows what is best for their situation. A Life Coach does not tell a player what to do but instead guides them.
Life Coaching is a personal relationship. It is a process. The Life Coach is trained to deliver the process with confidence and ability ensuring the athlete gets the results, from every session, worthy of the money they are paying.
The process is made of an aggregate of skills and techniques shared fluidly through The Wiser Coaching Model. This Model is evocative and awareness driven. It ensures the planning, goal setting and accountability are not forgotten.
